ARTC offers freight-payment processing systems for customers who require the services of a third party.

ARTC builds and maintains a computerized central database of all your carriers' rates specific to your company. These rates are accessible to you through the Internet. All bills are pre-audited through the database to ensure proper payment.

Processing
Freight bills can be processed with or without match-payment as follows:
• carriers submit freight bills for payment with copies of
• bill-of-lading by hard copy or by EDI
• freight bills are coded automatically for your general ledger
• all bills are pre-audited using your computerized database
• duplicate payment control is established by pro number; if on
• match-payment, by bill-of-lading and pro number
• payment is made by individual check
• all freight bills received Monday through Friday are processed
• by the close of the following Monday

Reporting
Twenty-four standard reports are available to you through the Internet or by hard copy. We also format special reports to meet your requirements.

Past-Due Lookups
Freight history is maintained for a period of three years. You can check status of any bill directly through the Internet or by phone. Carriers also have the same capability.

Analysis Programs
The following analysis reports are available through the Internet, hard copy, or downloaded to your PC:
• Lost Opportunity - shows instances where a shipment was tendered
• and alternative carrier(s) were available
• Rate Analysis - determines the cost impact of a carrier's
• rate change (tariff, discount, FAK)
• Inventory Supply Point Report - analyzes multiple warehouses at
• once to determine where a customer's order should be shipped

Studies
By using your history files, ARTC can conduct the following studies:
• analyze all LTL shipments to determine if they can be combined
• into truckload to reduce cost and improve service
• analyze all LTL shipments to determine if pool points should
• be established
• analyze the cost of relocating pool points due to changes
• in shipping patterns
